Best photo for your Toc Toc AI video
The clearer the photo, the more the person in the video looks like you. Head to feet, facing the camera, in good light is the best place to start.

Head to feet
Stand facing the camera with your whole body in frame, so the video can keep your real outfit and shoes.

A clear selfie
A sharp selfie can work too. With no outfit to copy, the clothes below your shoulders may be made up.

Sunglasses
Hidden eyes make your face harder to keep. Take them off, and skip heavy filters too.

Group photos
Crop the photo so only the person in the video is left.

- Kept from the photo: the long dark hair, the black top, the blue jeans and the sneakers.
- Changed: the outdoor background. The video always plays in the template's plain room, whatever is behind you in your photo.
- Moves: the hops run non-stop for the full 10 seconds.
- Fastest moment: the turn at about four seconds, when the hair and body move the most.

What is the Toc Toc dance?
The dance in three words
Hop, swing, repeat.
Toc Toc is a TikTok dance set to Patrick Sébastien's French song of the same name. You hop fast on one foot in time with the music, and during the chorus you mime knocking on a door. It is short, silly and easy to copy, so it spread quickly.
Toc Toc AI means making the dance without learning it. You add one photo, and an AI video model takes the person in it through the routine. Our template is the solo hopping version, built around the hops and arm swings. Compare it with the other AI dance templates on Tamipo.
What happens in the video, second by second
The moves are the same for everyone. Only the person changes.
- 0–3s
Quick hops facing the camera
The dancer starts square to the camera and hops from foot to foot, arms loose at the sides. The rhythm is set straight away.
- 3–4s
Arms thrown wide
The body dips forward and both arms swing out to the sides. This is the first big shape in the clip.
- 4–8s
Side-on with a heel kick
A quick turn whips the hair round. The dancer keeps hopping side-on, with the back heel kicking up.
- 8–10s
Back to the front, arms open
The dancer turns to face the camera again, still hopping, and finishes with both arms open. There is no cut from the first frame to the last.

If your video looks off
- The face does not look like you
- Use a sharper photo with your face lit from the front.
- The outfit looks different
- Use a head-to-feet photo. The model cannot copy clothes it cannot see.
- The legs look strange during the hops
- Pick a photo where both legs are clearly visible, not crossed, hidden behind a table or cut off by the frame.
- You want a different take
- Each run comes out a little different, so change the photo first, then make another one.

Toc Toc AI FAQ
Does the video include the door knock?
No. This template is the solo hopping version, so it has the hops, arm swings and sway, but no door knock. The example video on this page shows exactly what you get.
Do I need to know the dance?
No. The moves come from the template. You do not need to dance or film anything, only add a photo.
Is the song included?
The video comes with music in the style of the trend song. It is not the original recording, and you can swap in another sound when you post.
What is Kicékéla?
Another name for the Toc Toc song. It is a respelling of the French chorus line "Qui c'est qui est là", which means "who's there?".
Can I do this with friends?
Not in this template. It has one dancer, so use a photo of one person. You can make a separate video for each friend who agrees.
Will it look like me?
Usually yes: your face, hair and outfit come from your photo, but AI results vary. If it does not look right, try a clearer photo.
How long is the video and what format?
A 10-second vertical MP4 (9:16, 480p) with sound and no watermark, sized for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
What happens to my photo?
We delete your photo within 24 hours. The finished video stays in My Creations for 30 days, then it is deleted.
What if the video fails?
The credits for that video go back to your balance automatically, and you can try again with another photo.
Is this affiliated with the Toc Toc creator?
No. We are an independent tool and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the original creators or anyone shown in the trend.
